Delete your account
You can delete your Witness Panda account yourself, from inside the app, in two taps. You do not need to ask us, explain why, or wait.
In the app
- Open Witness Panda and go to the You tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. It is immediate and it cannot be undone.
If you cannot open the app
Email luis@duckflock.com from the address you signed up with, and we will delete the account by hand. We do not charge for this and we will not ask you to justify it. Requests are actioned within 30 days and normally within a few days.
What gets deleted
All of it, permanently:
- Your account and email address.
- The reference photo of your workspace, and every check-in photo ever taken.
- Every block you committed to, every check-in, and every verdict.
- Your streak and grace tokens.
- Your all-in settings and any escrowed post that was never published.
Your connection to X is revoked at X as part of the deletion, so this app can no longer post as you. Posts that were already published to X are on your own X timeline and are yours to delete there — we cannot remove them for you.
What we keep, and for how long
Nothing that identifies you. Server logs and billing records may retain a request timestamp or an anonymised identifier where the law requires us to keep them; these cannot be used to reconstruct your account, your photos or your history.
Backups roll off on their own schedule and are never used to restore a deleted account.
